Crossing the State of Vermont

Vermont is one of the state in New England Region and its the smallest landlocked state in USA. It is 143km in width from east to west and 256km in length from north to south, bordered by Massachusetts to the south, New Hampshire to the east, New York State to the west and Canadian Province of Quebec to the north. It has a population of about 600,000 and the name Vermont was most probably derived from French word which means Green Mountain. Like most of the states in New England region, Vermont's fall foliage in autumn is most spectacular.
