High Falls Gorge at Adirondack Park , New York State



Adirondacks at northern part of New York State USA, a definable region is filled with small towns, quaint villages, ponds and lakes, streams and rivers, mountains and peaks with wide species of flora and fauna. Its million years of history make it ancient, wild and charming. White Face Mountain at Wellington offers clear phenomena changes in seasons and marvelous panorama view of the whole northern region.



Eight passengers cloud splitter gondola at White Face Mountain is one of the most scenic ride at north part of The States. Pumpkins and huge straw decoration displayed at the foot of the mountain reminding you that its Halloween.



Though gloomy and raining, trees around the area still managed to hold and keep the bright golden color foliage with them.

Trees are the main part of nature. Without them, places like this wont look interesting. They play the key role always changing in different looks at different time in different screen.



Trees Leaves at Wellington started to fall after a night of heavy rain and carpeting the whole river bank into golden atmosphere.






Due to bad weather, the route driving up to White Face Mountain was closed.



High Falls Gorge is one of the four attractions at Wilmington Town and is about 8 miles east of Lake Placid. It was formed over a million years ago by forces of ice, water and wind.



This 22 acres nature park is completely surrounded by the state preserved land providing nature lovers a unique environment to explore.

The second layer of falls is named as rainbow fall and is about 20ft high.



Continued from Rainbow falls is third part of falls which is known as climax fall and is about 25 ft high.



The groomed paths, steel bridges and walkways provide visitors vantage points to safely view this natural wonder, its falls, dark pools and the largest pot holes of New York State.



The 0.75miles long metal walk way is to lead you back for the review of the splendid falls.



High Falls Gorge along the Asuable River provides a friendly atmosphere for family, young or old people to relax and refresh for at least half a day.



The wooden trail brings you down to intimately close to the falls.



Though the entrance fee at US$11.00 per adult is on the high side, the 22 acre of land is very well maintained and it is made quite safe for children or seniors to enjoy the visit.
